“Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind.” – Seneca

So I'd consider myself well traveled.   It's something I am so grateful to be.  Every bit of every experience, good and bad, makes it a better story cause it happened.   Even the athlete's foot from a hostel shower in Dublin, Ireland about 15 years ago.

Ew. Gross.  Don't talk about that.

But for real though.

Travel is organized chaos.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  Flights get delayed, hotels get overbooked, luggage gets lost. Some of the shittiest shit happens man.

It always seems that the more personal the travel experience, the better it is.  The toughest stuff has involved big corporate airlines and hotel chains and sometimes, it's just enough to make you think you need a NetJets card and a personal assistant.  Reality sets in though and you maybe wonder how you can have an amazing and potentially transformative adventure without being an "instagram model" and jetting off on some yacht where you will probably feel obligated to... Aw heck, we ventured off into the weird place, didn't we?

Let's circle back around, travel...

You should travel.  It's so fricking good for you. It does something to the mind, in the best of ways.  And you don't need to be a baller to do it either.  (Just promise me you'll spring for some cheap shower shoes for those hostel showers).  If you can find a way to go somewhere, and experience something new, DO IT!  What are you waiting for? Go somewhere and look at some new shit and some new people.   You'll be so happy you did.
